Seth Greenback Drama Relic Performed in Rittman Twenty Years Ago

An article recalls a 37 year old local drama titled Seth Greenback directed by Wood Gish in Rittman on a March Saturday. Cast included W A Gish now in Taft California and Mrs Joe Maxwell later of Cleveland, with other residents such as David Lance and Pat Murdawn. The program mixed burlesques and popular songs with a 10 cent to 25 cent admission for a reserved seat.

Dusky Brothers Mourn Father Death in Indiana

The Dusky brothers, Chas and Pat, are summoned home to Indiana by the death of their father. Details are scarce, noting only the death occurred Saturday morning. The family visited Rittman two weeks prior. Mrs. Ed Boyce is a daughter of the deceased.

Florida couple visits Ravenna for tornado damage repairs

Tourists from Florida Mr and Mrs Lewis, formerly of Ravenna Ohio, spent Sunday with Mr and Mrs Pardee Sigler. They own Ravenna property badly damaged by the June tornado and come to order repairs. The Lewises now run a thriving fernery business in Florida.

Auto turns over at Reca Hill near Doylestown

Monday morning around 1030 a Dodge touring car with a man and woman on board and a Pennsylvania license turned turtle at Red's Hill near Doylestown. One rear wheel skidded, tipping the car and crushing the top but the occupants escaped with minor injuries and the car could continue after quick repairs.
