John Schlup, a longtime resident who endured frontier life, died Saturday night in Kittman at age 73. Funeral services were held Monday at the U B church in Ritman with interment in Knupp's cemetery. he leaves his wife, two daughters, a son, two brothers, one sister, six grandchildren, and many friends.
