Apple Festival Plans Near Final Form in Rittman
Advance sale tickets for the August 26 29 Rittman Apple Festival go on sale with four tickets for one dollar and a chance on a 10 speed bike. Nominations for Festival Queen and Court open to women 16 to 116 with details to Mrs Bob Arnold. Festival events include games food booths commercial exhibits and a large Saturday parade with 45 units and 1000 performers.

Two Area Horse Shows Scheduled Next Week
Two area horse shows are listed for next week. The Locust Valley Saddle Club hosts its second annual show at Winkler's Barn on Saturday at 1 p.m. Call Kathy Reffert at 925-3803 for details.
