H A Slemmons 46 a well known northern Wayne county farmer died in Wooster hospital Friday morning from injuries suffered while operating a tractor. He had been recovering when a relapse prompted the final hospitalization. He served on the Wayne County Board of Health and led the Creston M E B church and band. He leaves a wife, daughter of Dr and Mrs N B Dawson of Sterling. Funeral services Monday drew a large crowd. interment was in Wooster cemetery.
Mrs Nellie Clegg gains temporary alimony of $100 per week as Judge Starn orders in the divorce proceedings. The court also grants custody of the minor children to Mrs Clegg while allowing the father limited possession of the children. Attorney Jo B Meesh of Davistown represents Sire Clore in court.
Several nesthy herd owners on land west of Rattman drainage seek court action with Judge Hob Swertz and Walter Mougey to reverse losses tied to a B&O embankment. They aim to force commissioners to open and widen Big and Little Chippewa and Styx valleys for canal drainage to their properties.

The Wooster Daily Record reports Dr Odler, a local chiropractor, was quarantined after treating the Roughh child who died of diphtheria. Odler had been exposed, and the quarantine lasted one day as inquiry stirred debate among medical circles and county officials.
A four site operation will run through May and fall, including a plant for aerating fish and equipment named Buckeye, Spewerer and bluegill. The project will stay in constant operation from October to May.
