Early Morning Flight Ends With Belts Save Lives
At Wadsworth Airport a 1941 Luscombe piloted by John Miracle nosed into a brush pile after takeoff. Frank Huff and Miracle were pulled from the wreck by Jack Stromack. Miracle suffered facial injuries and planned mouth surgery. Officials credited seat belts for preventing worse injuries. The $2100 plane was total loss. Investigations by FAA, Ohio State Patrol, and Medina County Sheriff.

Will Call Meeting On Operating Levy

Cyrus Ault 87 of Marshallville RD died after a brief illness at Orrville Osteopathic Hospital. He was a farmer until retirement. Survived by wife Grace Hershey, daughters Marcella Kennedy and Eileen Devore, 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Services at St. Michael's Lutheran Church Marshallville. Clayton Hoover Retires as Trustee in Milton Township
John Rastorfer of Sterling appointed by Milton Township Trustees to fill the unexpired term of Clayton Hoover who retires due to ill health. Rastorfer will join the Wadsworth-Rittman Joint Township Hospital Board until Jan. 1, 1970 and previously served a four year term in the 1950s. He is Milton Township Volunteer Fire Department member and Sterling Farm Equipment maintenance supervisor. Hoover served 11 years as trustee and contributed to county road upkeep.
