At Milton United Presbyterian Church a family night dinner honored Life Scout Brian Bodager and Star Scout Ben Imhoff from Troop 405. W. D. Hilty presented the renewal charter to Dale Rohrer of Howard Bair Post American Legion. Thieves broke into Rittman Hardware on West Ohio Avenue before 3:43 a.m. entry gained over a top safe. They damaged interiors and stole under $1 in cash plus shotgun shells beebees flashlights watches knives reels and 76 cents. Vandal(s) also damaged the store with spray paint and opened a desk and filing cabinet. Entry also occurred at Rittman Community Center. The value and nature of articles taken are undetermined.
