Thieves broke into Rittman Hardware on West Ohio Avenue before 3:43 a.m. entry gained over a top safe. They damaged interiors and stole under $1 in cash plus shotgun shells beebees flashlights watches knives reels and 76 cents. Vandal(s) also damaged the store with spray paint and opened a desk and filing cabinet. Entry also occurred at Rittman Community Center. The value and nature of articles taken are undetermined.
