Thomas Chisnell of Doylestown, a Wooster College geology assistant, earned a Cornell University geology department assistantship. The grant covers tuition. he will devote one fourth time to assist duties and three fourths to graduate work, becoming Wooster’s first geology graduate to advance to Cornell.

Summer Vacation Bible School Opens June 5 in Rittman
The annual church vacation school of cooperating churches of Rittman begins Monday June 5 and runs four weeks. Rev. C. J. McGee announces 141 enrolled last year, with an average attendance of 132. Pastors will meet later this month to select the teaching staff and the school will be housed in the Primary building as in former years.

Formidable Catfish Weighs Big Prize in Local Catch

Civic Association Hears Address On Civic Duties
