Paul Edward Morrow 29 died August 25 1939 at Lamesa Texas after brief illness. He was son of Mr and Mrs J E Morrow of Potter born February 26 1910 in Monroe Nebraska. He studied at Nebraska Wesleyan University and Oklahoma State University and worked in geophysics for Mott Smith Houston. Funeral held at Potter Methodist Church with local relatives attending. Interment at Potter Cemetery.

Death claims a respected young mother in Kimball
Mrs. Fred L. Baker of Kimball dies after a long illness. A sister of Mrs. Glisense Johnson of Potter, she lived in Potter for years and worked at the local bank. Funeral services were held August 27 at the Potter Methodist church with Rev. Weston and Rev. Low officiating. interment in Potter. She leaves her husband, four daughters, her mother, two sisters and two brothers.

Stewart Nelson Completes Summer School Work at Colorado
Stewart Nelson finished summer school work at the University of Colorado and then drove to Denver last week to bring home his grandmother, Mrs. Jennie McAdam, who sought medical advice about her arm. They returned to Potter Friday. The cast has been removed from Mrs. MacAdam's arm, but she will carry the arm in a sling for some time.
