Leafdales Celebrate 65th Wedding Anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Martin Leafdale of Potter marked their sixty fifth wedding anniversary. Born in Sweden, they married there and moved to the United States in 1887, first settling in Minden, Nebraska, then Potter. He was a preacher and later a farmer. They have nine children, six living, with twenty-five relatives attending.

Ready to make red shirts for Potter Days celebration
Materials are on hand and local ladies will sew red shirts for the Potter Days celebration. Shirts cost 1.70 dollars, with one dollar to the maker and a day to complete each shirt. Order through Mrs Stines, dress committee chair, for tailoring and delivery ahead of a parade show on Saturdays.
Successful public sale at Gerler auction
The Ernest Gerler sale drew a large crowd on Monday with most items selling well for the times. Machinery and all milk cows fetched strong prices, horses sold lower, Joe P. Schwartz led the sale with help from Andy Rapp, Pot ter State Bank clerked. The Gerler family plans to move to Missouri.
