Potter customers at the municipal Leh plant may use unlimited electricity for 18 days ending January 3 without charges. Meters will be read today and December bills issued. the move aims to boost holiday decorations and lights in homes and businesses, a tradition Potter upholds as one of the best lit towns in the United States.
M D Morris of Munson City is the new manager of the Northwes Bell Telephone company at Kimball and Potter, replacing George A Waters. Morris and family will reside in Kimball, while Waters will move to Rapid City, South Dakota, and take a winter course with prospects of another assignment in the spring.
Seven members attended the American Lesson and Auxiliary convention at Alliance on Monday. They reported an interesting and profitable session. Attendees included George Thirlwall, Lawrence Schwartz, Roy L. MacAdam, Alfred A McH, Albert Jacobson, Mrs Roy L. MacAdam, and Mrs. George Ransom.
