Farmers are urged to visit the county office or lending agency to learn steps before removing any wheat stored under government loan. James H. Campbell, chairman Cheyenne County A. C. A. notes farmers may be told how to proceed before waiving the seal and removing the grain.

The Ladies Aid met at Mrs Otto Bergts home for quilting and gift exchanges. Several local residents visited, dined, or hosted gatherings across the weekend, including the Mueller, Schuessler, Hilpert, and Mueller families, with several mentions of sick lists and travel to Sterling and Cheyenne.

Bert Scheele returned from the west coast. Auxiliary met with Mrs John Clausen Jr with ten members and a lunch. Willard Atkinson of Denver visited his father Chris Larsen. Lloyd Shaw and children visited Cecil Wyc koff. Jacinto Club hosted a piNochle with husbands and families at I O O F hall. high score won by Wm Scheele and Mrs Lloyd Shaw low scores. Grade 1 students welcome mothers to class and admire a big Christmas tree. Fourth to sixth graders list top spellers and cipher winners, with Miss Aldershaw visiting. Latin, geometry, and English topics noted along with a skating party to Sidney and the unveiling of class rings. Thomas Iverson, patient at the Cheyenne veterans hospital, is reported to be gaining strength rapidly and making progress toward recovery. Mrs. Iverson visited Monday with BE. S. Her masen and family and Miss Bernice Seyfang. He and his family made another visit Tuesday with Himil Nelson and family.

Gilmore F Wills son of Mr and Mrs Ray Wills has joined the navy and is stationed at the Naval Training station San Diego California His company is 39-46 He passed his Denver examinations with high honors and will study electrical and radio engineering in the navy.
Mr and Mrs Raymond Richardson and Mr and Mrs Red Amos and Miss Noris Cremeen from Los Angeles visit the Floyd Himradright family. Mrs Amos and Mrs Richardson are sisters of Mrs Timmelright.
Miz Harry Coates and her son Jerry Dale departed early Tuesday for Los Angeles to join her husband who has been working there for several months.
A large crowd attended the community Christmas program last Saturday held in the lumber yard shelter due to high wind and dust. Music pleased attendees as children enjoyed Santa Claus and his gifts. Organizers and participants thank the supporting organizations and all who contributed to the event.
