Legal notice in the Las Vegas Age warns that a public sale planned for July 1st 1M follows improper procedure. It argues the sale of tax‑defaulted lots held in trust by the county treasurer must follow civil procedure, citing Section 128 and Section 1 of law.
The treasurer is the official to execute a public sale of Lots 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 33 34 35 36 38 40 42 43 44 45 46 47 in block twenty nine with parcels in ranges, under a statute requiring twenty days notice in three public places including the courthouse. The sale may be delayed by law. notices must be published if assessed value exceeds five hundred dollars.
