The Grimes family of 5023 West High announces Mary Grimes to Paul Morehart of Mt. Sterling Ohio. Mary an University of Cincinnati graduate and teacher at Anderson Junior High. Paul OSU graduate and teacher at Dater Junior High. Wedding set for Sept 4 at Westwood United Methodist Church. Also listed are upcoming weddings for Cynthia Ann Wessel and Barbara Ann Morris with dates Sept 5 and Sept 4 respectively and partners Robert Roebel and Ernest Bechtel.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank J. Rothe of 424 Greenwell Ave. mark 50 years of marriage with a Mass of thanksgiving at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church at 1 p.m. A family dinner at Alpine Inn precedes an open house from 6 to 9 p.m. at 5415 Bonita Dr. The couple’s son Frank W. Rothe lives there with his wife. They also have a daughter Mrs. Mary Lou Martini, 12 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Mr. Rothe worked a milk wagon for 51 years and spent 42 years with French Bauer Co before retiring in 1961.
The Edgecliff College Summer Theatre Under the Stars reopens in July with meals at reserved tables for theatre parties. The Fantasticks runs July 2–19, Oliver! July 10–24, and Antigone July 22–Aug 2. Box office details via Edgecliff Theatre.
A motorcade through Delhi and Western Hills will announce the St. Dominic Church carnival at Delhi Pike and Pedretti Rd on Saturday and Sunday June 27 and 28. The motorcade begins at 7 30 p m from the St Dominic parking lot on Thursday June 25. Festival chairman is Dick Phillips of Robben Le.
Mr and Mrs Verle Richey announce the engagement of daughter Vicky Lee to Jack Adrian son of Mr and Mrs Joseph Adrian. The couple plans a Sept 19 wedding at St Lawrence A Sept 12 wedding in Philippus United Church of Christ is planned by Dian Ruth Scheidenberger and Danel A Brannon. Both couples graduate from UC College of Business Administration.
Boy Scouts Junior Cadette and Senior Girl Scouts camped at Versailles Camp Indiana from Sunday to Wednesday funded mainly by cookie sales. They pursued Water Safety Badges with swimming and aquatic activities. Rev. Robert J Strassell and Plymouth Ladies Guild attended guest events with Mrs Charles Fisher presiding at a Thursday meeting of Plymouth Congregational Church ladies. A picnic lunch at noon and a social at 1 pm followed.
