Six Die in Everett Riot As I W W Members Clash
Seattle workers say six men died and about fifty were injured in a battle at Everett Washington when 250 Industrial Workers of the World members attempting to land from the Verona were opposed by Sheriff Donald McRea and a Snohomish county posse. The Verona reportedly fired first, prompting exchanges on shore and aboard the boat which then returned to Seattle with the dead and wounded. The dead were taken to the morgue, the wounded to the city hospital, and the uninjured to the city jail.

Everett street clash leaves Guard units on alert
One member of the Everett citizens posse C O Curtis was killed and others injured. Including the wounded there are 294 men and three women under arrest.
