Rotary plan funds for war sufferers aiding Mobile relief
The Rotary Club moved to collect funds for war stricken people with no specific recipient. money will be directed by donors and divided among Armenian, Serbian, Polish relief efforts. A committee including H Armbrecht and T Eaton backed the resolution to channel all Mobile gifts through a single agency to American relief groups.

Santa Fe plans death benefit for long service employees
The Atchison Topeka and Santa Fe railway system announced a death benefit plan for employees with two or more years of service. Beginning July 1 the company will pay a beneficiary a portion of the late employee's last twelve months salary multiplied by years of continuous service, plus a $250 endpoint and one year’s salary guaranteed for beneficiaries. The plan will be tested for two years.
