Century And Silver Report At Harrison Banquet
The Harrison Century and Silver Celebration Committee held a banquet on Monday evening December 1 at 8 p.m. The committee reported the funds are in the black. A sale of commemorative items was authorized with price reductions on most items except the Century and Silver Book at 1.75 dollars. Donations included banner room and purchases by Cliff Zimmer. Slides from the parade were shown by Marilyn McQueen. Arch Mason’s parade films and Rosemary Kelly and Ann Woelfel interview skit were also shown. Orville Kinker delivered the treasurer's report.

Jerry Bovard's father died on Wednesday November 26 and was a Rising Sun Indiana resident. Services were held at 2 pm Saturday November 29 at Detmer and Detmer Funeral Home. He ran a Delaware Ohio foundry before retiring. Survived by wife Jeannette Morellon Bovard son Jerry four grandchildren sisters and brothers. Contributions to the Cancer Society.
