I-275 to Open to Kilby End of This Month
Ohio District 8 highway engineer Alden Copenhaver says a four mile I 275 section from I 74 to Kilby Road near Elizabethtown will open by July 31 1976. The Kilby Road to Indiana line segment by Miller Brothers Construction Co is near completion pending Indiana access at the state line. The Indiana portion near the Ohio line is built by the Jurgensen firm with plans of full completion by 1977.

Auto Accidents Injure Several in Dual Crashes
A westbound car driven by 16 year old Carla Brandt collided while trying to avoid another auto, injuring eight. Brandt faced a left of center charge as hospital authorities listed an injury. In a second crash 110 miles south, four people were hurt in a head on collision on Johnson Fork Road in Franklin County Indiana. Dale Kimpel Douglas Metz Polly Metz and Rebecca Metz were named as injured. Floyd Mericle remains a patient in Cincinnati.
