The Homer school alumni association will hold its annual reunion at the Homer school building in Homerville on Sunday June 29 with an informal program starting at 1 30 p m. Graduates of 1925 and 1950 will be honored and light refreshments will follow. The event details include an antique show at Stan Hywet Hall on July 13 from 10 a m to 6 p m with lunch and refreshments on the grounds.
Akron University graduates from the Medina County area include Walter R. Knowles and Frederick Saraullo Jr. with B.S. degrees, plus many others across Brunswick Chippewa Lake Hinckley Litchfield Medina Seville Wadsworth and Lodi. Degrees span B.S. in education B.S. in civil and mechanical engineering and multiple A.A.S. and B.A. programs.
The Brunswick Duplicate Bridge Club held a Tuesday event with Howell movement. Winners were S. Bormann and S. Bormann with 36 points, B. Carter and P. Wilson with 18 points, and L. Weis and D. Applegate with 12 points. Next event scheduled for June 21.
