A Wise Amendment at Iron Molders Convention
At the Iron Molders International Union convention held in July in Troy New York a new constitutional provision aims to curb strikes by requiring arbitration. A five member arbitration committee will include two union members two from management and a fifth chosen by mutual agreement. If no agreement is reached within five days the grievance reverts to the existing process.
