Local notes report Adin ef Corona and others attending the Pair and Irrigation Congress in Albuquerque. Many residents, including Mr. and Mrs. Bayley and Mr. Bennett, traveled to Albuquerque for the fair and related events while others moved between Estancia and Santa Fe for business, family visits, and college matters.
Postmaster Romero plans departure tomorrow or Sunday to attend the Pair and Congress in Albuquerque. Miss Lena Booth, assistant postmistress, will be in charge, aided by Mrs. Besis Smith.
L. B. Lundy departed Tuesday evening for his former home in Atalissa Iowa to spend an extended visit. He recently secured final proof on a fine claim north of the valley and speaks highly of the area, urging others to consider the opportunities offered.
