A Mayborne party with W H Roulston and Mrs Lawrence Green joined relatives from nearby ndoah Indiana at a Morton Park basket dinner. L. M. Cavett and grandparents Frank T. Pearce were visiting while her husband worked as relief foreman on Rock Island at Nelson Nebr. E L Loock and daughter returned from a Kansas Nebraska trip noting grain yields up to 60 bushels per acre in some areas and good corn in western counties. Harry Remely and Lela Homan visited from Atwater Minnesota at the Remely home and with Diller relatives before heading back to serve in Iowa. Ryal Miller of Cheverolet announced plans to relocate to that city. The J N C hosted forty-nine at Mrs Clarence Hiatt’s home with ice cream, cake and coffee. The J N C then met at Mrs Newt Hayes with eleven members and one visitor for noon business and luncheon. The next gathering will be at Mrs Gallancy on Oct 3.
