Charley Fisher returns Sunday from Savannah Missouri. Barrel oil or gas delivery inquiries directed to Diller Filling Station. Dr Adams listed as Garland successor at 1113 North 6th Street Beatrice. Note reports a typographical error in the Diller State bank statement requiring republication this week.
Mrs. Bernice Creekmar of Fairbury visited Mrs. Willis Clark and family. Ralph Long remained seriously ill after a tooth extraction infection. Mrs. J W Fouts and nephew Ralph Frisbie drove to Seward to meet relatives. George Griswold family from Home City Kansas and Henry Weeker family from Marysville Kansas attended Mrs. Ella Griswold’s gathering.
Mrs S J Thompson and her young daughter Mary Lou were summoned to Lincoln due to the illness of Mrs Clyde Zook, wife of Thompson’s brother. Zook attended church on Sunday and was able to leave the hospital.
O. J. Maybern traveled to Omaha on Tuesday to participate in an association meeting.
The J N C club met Wednesday with Mrs. Frank Grone and six members attended. The next meeting will be at the home of Mrs. C Hilder on Wednesday November 2.
The Diller Lincoln club met with Mrs. C L E Blauser at her home 1045 South Thirty-fifth Street. Members spent the time in formal conversation and a two course lunch, hosted by Mrs Blauser.
Good second-hand wagons for sale by J. H. Saathoff. Wanted to buy a good two horse sweep power. Harley Clark of Fairbury visited Diller relatives. Will and Will Henrichs visited St. Edwards, Neb. Two residences for rent and several homes for sale at bargain by S. Hutchinson. Rex Theatre buildings converted into a box ally operated by Rex A. Green.
Robert Wrigley of Muskogee is visiting this week with his sister in law Mrs Carrie Wrigley and other relatives.
Miss Susan Randall hosted Sunday dinner guests Mrs. Harrison of Whiting Nebraska Mrs. Isabella Raymond and Mrs. Carrie Green Rev and Mrs D B Meaughlin who are staying temporarily at H were calling last Friday on Diller relatives and friends
Geo Fisher returned Tuesday from New Market Indiana to his old home and noted many changes since his last visit there fourteen years ago.
A Bristol lineman and longtime trouble shooter for the Diller story suffered a hard blow from a branch while handling a wire berth. He was struck on the left ear and wounded at the skull, later regaining consciousness and continuing to work with a bandaged head.
Monday October 24 at 7 30 p m the Parent Teachers meeting will gather at the School House to discuss pupil problems and united effort to help the child with talks by Mrs Miller and the Glee club plus a hot lunch and social hour.
Last Sunday several Beatrice residents drove to the Eindicott Steele City canyons for a day trip. Guests included Roy Roelfs family Lillian Findling and family Dr O C Diehl Eleanor Oliver Arthur Rhodes and John. Snakes a rattler and blue racer were killed by some of the party. The canyons are proposed as an ideal park site.
Mr and Mrs Chas Barber and Mr and Mrs Will Barber of Fairbury returned Wednesday from a motor trip to Mr Valley and Sherman visiting Mrs Chas sister Mrs Letha Hollis in Arcadia and Cash Routh and family in Burwell. Lael enjoyed the trip very much covering over six hundred miles with corn and hogs seen along the way and no poor corn observed.
The Mrs Harvey trial over her husband’s shooting proceeds in Fairbury as juror George Sc Plyout of Peane is attacked in the box, later dying from his injuries. Moss will preside Saturday.
Mrs J A Pickard reports her son has a significant salary advancement while working in a Valen Nebraska drug store, noting the raise comes quite a bit ahead of schedule.
Mr Willis Clark and his daughter Carolynn Rose expect to travel to Lincoln today for a week to visit relatives and friends.
Church notes report the Sunday school rally day at the M E church has been postponed. Mrs. L J Hitchcock from Falls City is visiting with Mr. and Mrs. John Carrico. Hollenberger oak visited his son George in Benkleman Nebraska last Friday.
Purebred spotted male pigs for sale at farmers prices. Taken soon. Mr. and Mrs. Grant King, visiting with her uncle and aunt Mr. and Mrs. George Riddle, have gone to visit a son’s family in Valley.
Dr. Leverett Bristol of New York City visited Wednesday evening with his uncle and aunt Mr and Mrs Frisbie and the Frisbie family and other Diller relatives in a family gathering.

Mrs Bristor who had visited several days at the home of her son Ab Bristor and family returned to her home in Wymore Sunday.
Violet Cha, Harmony Chapter No. 13 Columban, and guests from OdellNebraska hosted an initiation for Mrs Coleen O Britt. The event at Wymore drew twelve visitors and twenty two members with relief and refreshments provided by members.
