A wedding ring belonging to Mrs Emma Carpenter Ellis lost in 1894 on her parents farm near Ellis was found recently by Mrs John Hicken and family. The ring is reported to be nearly as bright as when first worn.
Earl Weigle rode bareback to check cows and was thrown when the horse shied. He landed hard in the field and has since been laid up recovering from the mishap.
Mr. and Mrs. Richard Mayborn visited Friday evening and dined with the latter's parents Mr and Mrs O J Mayborn. They planned to relocate in Fort Worth Texas to work with the Jewel Tea Company.

In Pleasant precinct at Diller city hall last night voters chose whether to support an adjustment program to follow the 1935 plan ending November 30 1935. Those voting later could do so at the association office in Fairbury up to October 26.
