Odell Mourns Soldier Killed by Spanish Flu
William Burnett 22 son of Mr and Mrs M Burnett died at Camp Jackson Florida from Spanish influenza. Guarda acted as military escort at the Odell funeral held yesterday. Burnett is the second Odell boy to die at a training camp from the disease, following Walter Schoenbeck who died at a Baltimore hospital.
