Dry wood for sale delivered by Leonard Richardson. Low priced hats advertised by Wallace sisters of N. S. S. Paitbury. Mr and Mrs Ab, Cully and Grace visit Diller relatives in Beatrice on Sunday.
Apples for sale clean winter fruit 48 lb bushel price 1 50. Grade 1 00 per bushel. Mrs Myrtle Northup and Burl return from Dennison with her father J A Marshall. Purebred spotted male pigs for sale at farmer prices. The J N C met with Mrs Grone as club quilt was finished and will be sold at the next meeting Oct 19.
A milk cow is for sale and Diller Filling Station advertises barrel delivery of oil or gas. Also noted is an eye exam and Dr. Adams successor to Dr. Garland at 1114 North 6th Street Beatrice.
Word passes that the boys are bringing in several ducks. Adam Gretzinger starts a 12x foot chicken house. Mrs S M H has spent eight weeks of eighty with her relatives and their families at Daykin and Hebras. Wm Spillies and Jesse Miller of Ocean Park are visiting Diller and Fairbury relatives.
Carl Sandman and family moved into Mrs Brandt's residence in the southwest part of town for the winter. A new car owned by George Logan Diller was stolen from his garage in Carroll Nebraska last week. Mr and Mrs Harold Hutchinson of Omaha visited the area two days last week at the home of Mr and Mrs S C Hutchinson.
Mr and Mrs T H Waggoner plan a trip to his Kentucky home while Wilbur Green will oversee the Burlington section at Diller. Congressman J N Norton will meet constituents in Fairbury on Friday October 14 to discuss public matters. Mrs C L Geer returns from Sabetha Kansas and travels via the U P to Steele City. Mr and Mrs C E Wi spend weekend in Lincoln with their son Lynn and family. They attended the Iowa Nebraska football game in the rain. Mr and Mrs Bert Bell travel to Colorado to visit their daughter. Mrs Claude ehnsed and family return with twins. George Gananghameree oversees farm duties during their absence. Mrs W B Starr travels from the funeral of her father Dr W T Jeffryes, formerly of Diller, to visit relatives in Kansas City and Wichita before returning to Cisco Texas.
