Officials search for a hit and run driver after Will Bristol was killed when his car rolled off a Warren Wyoming road. Bristol, Frank Bazille and Griff Abrahams had left Powell for Byron and returned to Warren before the fatal crash. Bristol remained with the wrecked vehicle while Bazille and Abrahams sought aid. The Fairchild Brothers of Endicott are sued for unpaid salary by Herman E. Fairchild and face two notes totaling 27500 plus interest. Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Peterson of Howarder Iowa and Mr. Joe Erford of Plainfield Pennsylvania visited from Saturday afternoon to Monday morning at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Eick. Mrs. Peterson and Mr. Erford are cousins of Mrs. Eick. Chas Carr of Fairbury and Miss Grayce Myers of Falls City came Saturday, Will Myers and family of Lincoln came Sunday, and all enjoyed the day together. This is Mr. Elford's first visit to the west and he likes the country. It is the first time he and Mrs. Eick have met in about 48 or 49 years.

Wolf capture near Theo Henrichs residence
Caught during fall trapping near town, Gerald and Freddie Garrels chased a coyote on the road north of Theo Henrichs' residence. They struck it with a car, shot it after it escaped, and pursued it into John Plager's wheat field where it fell. Freddie kicked it and Gerald fired again. the wolf’s hide was left hanging on a fence.
