Will Bristor Killed By Auto In Wyoming

H H Green received a telegram from Powell Wyoming stating their brother in law Will Bristor was killed when struck by an automobile on the highway while returning home from a trip to Montana. Safety program at Diller school attracts large crowd

About 125 people attended a Tuesday evening safety program at the Diller school house sponsored by the Diller Woman's Club. Capt. Weller of Lincoln led safety patrol discussions and films with Mrs. Russell Freidell of Dorchester, plus readings, musical numbers, and a safety exhibit emphasizing school courses and community safety efforts.

Tragedy On Farm: Tractor Flung Into Driver

Alfred Carmichael suffered severe injuries to his hand and knee last Tuesday when a coupling on a threshing machine broke while a tractor pulled it downhill. The machine rolled forward onto him as he rode, and doctors hope to save his injured fingers.

Family Day Trip Rounds Hastings and KMMJ Visit

Mr Perry Weaver and Mr Barber with their wives and Garnet visited Fairfield for a pleasant day with Mr and Mrs Ben Hall and their children Max and Fern. They toured the State hospital at Hastings and Radio Station KMMJ at Clayter. Mr Hall and Mrs Hall are recovering well in their new home.

Farm near Diller sells for 8800 investment

The Wm. Sonnenberg 160 acre farm six miles northwest of Diller was sold at public auction to the highest bidder yesterday. The well improved property had no encumbrance and was bought by a Plymouth man after bids were deemed too high at 55 per acre totaling 8800 for settling Mr Gaenenbivate estate. S. C. Miss Sueann Bell of Lincoln fooled her school teachers last week by visiting Jefferson county.
