Margery Nippert daughter of Mr and Mrs Joe Nippert married Wed at Slat at Margaville Kane to Joni Reefover SR Ne 856 Tapeta Kansat. The bride wore a blue dress with black accessories. The Women Association of the Congregational church met with Mrs Clarence Berg last Friday evening. Mrs Re Long presided as president and the group planned the annual church fair for the annex on Saturday evening. Members were assigned to sew garments for wartime needs and hospital boots and bedside kits for the Red Cross. Mrs C Steffen led devotionals. Guests included Mrs Normen Duell and Mrs Claude Woods. Refreshments were served by Mrs Renz assisted by Mesdames A B Green, Wm Siatbar and Mrs Harry Thompson. News arrived of the death of Mrs Mathilda Hillers of Johnson Nebraska.
