Memorial Day Observances Planned in Diller
Memorial exercises Sunday honor Decoration Day with a 11 a m service at Methodial church where Rev W F Clark will deliver the Memorial address and a Monday afternoon event at city hall with Rev McCallister speaking at the cemetery. The J N C met with Mrs Nora Amos on May 26 with seven members six visitors and three children present. Afternoon visitors were Leona Amos Iia Woods Clara Madden Nellie Frisbie Gladys Hayes and Thella Madden. A luncheon followed and the next meeting is set with Mrs Marguerite Packer on June 2 with no work planned. The body of Miss Laura Hullman who died in Beatrice hospital was brought to the Hullman home for funeral services on Sunday. Carroll Diller is on two week vacation visiting his parents J Smith Diller. he has worked as a chemical engineer in New York and Wichita Kansas.

Play Day Dist 64 Blauser School Held May 22
The annual Play Day at Blauser School took place Saturday May 22 featuring a noon picnic dinner and a ball game between married and single men ending 20 to 11 in favor of the married men.
