Notice to qualified voters of School District No 70 Diller Jefferson County Nebraska that the annual school meeting will be held at the district school on June 14 at 8 o clock PM. The meeting will vote on raising by taxation $12 000 to defray expenses for the coming year as required by law.
The D. W. C. met with president Mrs. Scott Miller for the final meeting of the year. Standing committees for next year's work were appointed. Bernice Creekmur of Fairbury gave a splendid talk on child welfare. Mrs. Creekmur is active in church and club circles. Mrs. Frank Cully sang a solo with Flossie Raymond on piano. Refreshments were served by Mrs. S. Miller and Mrs. C. Woods.

The N C S A Club gathered at Mr Quinter Fry's country home on Wednesday afternoon May 12. Members responded to roll call with tributes to mothers, read poems, and shared pictures of their own mothers. Mrs S C Moser and Mrs Willis Clark won two sweet prizes.
