Recognition Convocation Honors Diller Students In Various Activities
Diller High School recognizes students at the Recognition Convocation held May 13. Dean Overturf of Fairbury Junior College addressed the gathering as coaches awarded letters for basketball softball track volleyball journalism and dramatics. St Pauls Vacation Bible School Opens June First
St Pauls Lutheran church announces Vacation Bible School starting June 1 at 9 a.m. to 11 30 a.m. for ages three and up. Luther League met at the church on May 30 for regular service with Edwin Schmidt presenting the topic Preparing for Life. Devotionals were led. the Fairbury Community Concert association membership campaign ended quickly as all 742 tickets sold. Jefferson County residents invested 59425.72 in Series U savings bonds during April.
