Father and Son Improve After Incidents in Colorado
Mr Snyder reports his 80 year old son in law Carl Sandman injured in a fall from a railroad bridge in Colorado last week is progressing as could be expected and in favorable condition. His grandson Clinton Sandman who had surgery for appendicitis last week is recovering well and has been moved from Odell Hospital to Abe Watson farm southeast of town. his mother returned from Colorado late last week.

Aldersgate Service at Methodist Church Honors John Wesley
A beautiful service Sunday evening commemorated John Wesley's spiritual awakening at the Methodist church. The program featured varied songs and solos with readings by minister and congregation. The Diller and Ellis Methodist choirs led singing with Miss Flossie Raymond at the piano. Reverends Wagner and Pyche officiated communion despite rain. A good audience attended, with strong representation from nearby churches including Ellis.

Decoration Day Exercises At Diller
The Decoration Day committee at Diller plans a program at the opera house on Monday May 30 at 2:00 PM. Bridge Dedicated Beatrice Blue River Crossing Opens
