Nebraska Family Visits Fairbury For Grave Decoration

Mrs. E. L. Loock and daughter Gertrude Henrichs with Madeline Henrichs of Ogalala Nebraska Mother in Law Helen Bowder and child of Los Angeles and Mrs Eleanor Lea of Fairbury visited together at the latter's home in Fairbury over the weekend. The group visited Diller Saturday night and again Monday to decorate graves.

Mr and Mrs Fred Clark their son Evertt and Scott Wells of Jansen left Diller this morning in a Buick with a trailer loaded with painting gear. They head to eastern Iowa to begin a season painting farms now under Prudential Insurance Company control supervised by Fred Starr.

Decoration Day Observances Draw Diller Residents to Cemetery

Former Diller residents visited the cemetery on Decoration Day. An unusually large procession of flowers graced the graves as a sacred tribute. The opera house program started at two o'clock and soldiers’ graves received additional blossoms afterward.
