Commencement Draws Record Crowd at Opera House
Last Thursday evening the opera house hosted commencement exercises that drew the largest audience in years. Sixty six and one third percent of the senior class were district students with many relatives present. First honors went to Lorene Achtemeier, valedictorian, of Harbine, daughter of Albert J. and Mrs. Achtemeier. Second honors went to Max Thompson, salutatorian, son of Harry and Mrs. Thompson.
