Boy Treated For Splintered Foot At Local Doctor
The son of Mr and Mrs Rempel on the Pat Shea place west of town was brought to Dr Diehls office Friday evening with a splinter in his foot. It had to be cut out under anesthesia. He is reported doing nicely.
Local families travel to Falls City for visits

They returned Wednesday evening with their daughter Bertha who had been teaching there. Elsie Kuhlman then returned home near Fall City after several weeks visiting her sister Mrs. Eilert Hullman.

Road cross cows tragedy prompts farm safety note

Decoration day will be observed in Diller with sons of veterans and American Legion sponsoring activities. A 2 00 pm program at the city park includes band music singing and addresses. If weather fails the venue moves to the opera house and then attendees visit the cemetery to lay flowers on soldier graves.

New Hog Strain Grows At Wiemers Farm

Brick and tile home work completed near Diller Nebraska
The Pete Weuz residence nine miles west of Diller is ready for the roof. It shifted from brick veneer to brick and tile construction with Ed Sullivan of Endicott and Gayle Leonard of Fairbury as the brick artists. They recently finished brick and tile work on Mrs. Schmitt's Daykin Neb residence, duplicating the Marvin London home.
