Tennis Tournament Sees 25 Players. Diller Triumphs
The lawn tennis club held a late last week tournament with about 25 participants. Henry Diller won the singles championship while Max Johnson finished as runner up. Mrs Déda Boner died May 21 1934 in Aberdeen Washington at age 55. Born in Fairbury she was sister to Mrs L Farmer and Charles Gilmore. Educated and taught in Fairbury before moving to Washington for more school work and marriage to E E Boner who led Diller schools 1896 1900.

Death Touches Community as Young Wife Dies
A young wife and mother of two died last Friday from a facial infection. Funeral services were held Sunday May 27 from the home and Congregational church in Diller with Rev. Heyhoe of Crete Nebraska officiating. Interment followed at Prairie Home Cemetery. A long list of relatives and friends from distant places attended the services.
