Wehling Falls Victim in Lanham Area Mudhole Rescue
Wm. Webbling Wehling of Lanham area died of a heart attack Wednesday evening while helping push his car from a mudhole near his home west of Lanham. He died before reaching Odell hospital. He was brother to Louis and John Wehling of near Diller. Mrs. Wehling was Sophia Mathias’s niece. Funeral arrangements have not been announced. Body at Waggoner Funeral Home.

Brother Oscar sinks first radio sermon from Boston
Oscar Sinkey, a first year student at Andover Newton Theological School, delivered his first half hour radio sermon from WIXA L Boston via World Wide Broadcasting Co. The talk covered biographical material and Moody's What Think Ye of Christ. He won first place in the Evangelistic Sermon Contest at Fall River Baptist Temple, earning $15 and the honor to deliver the sermon. He has signed as business manager for Camp Morgan in Washington New Hampshire for the summer.
