Old Diller House Will Not Be Razed

The Record's report of tearing down the W. H. Diller homestead was mistaken. Clifford Sparks sold his interest to Wm. Stewart who now holds a deed contract for the property. Stewart plans to house his son in law Otho Jennings and family, keeping the Diller house as a residence in Diller. Sparks once considered moving materials to Virginia or Beatrice for a cottage.

Daykin entertained with a tap dance number. Plymouth girls chorus sang. Diller High School Band performed several numbers. Supt. Sinkey chaired the contest and introduced Supt. Heilbrink who presented the trophy to Miss Grant. Judge was Miss E G Johnstone of Hanover Public Schools.
