Carpenter Damage Suit Settled
The $15,000 damage action by Juve Carpenter of Diller against Farmers Union Supply Co and Dean Kraus of Beatrice over Mrs Carpenter’s death in a July collision was settled last week after trial was called. Damages of $2,500 and $1,000 expenses were awarded. The accident occurred on the road north from Odell at the intersection where the highway passes under a Rock Island railroad bridge.
