Beatrice Area Residents Attend Weekend Visits
Local residents and visitors share weekend time at Beatrice with friends and relatives. Notable items include W M Hare and family, Frank Wieths travels from Burlington to Davenport, and Madge Meane aiding a ill sister in Diller. A county poor house resident George Ashpaugh aged 67 died by hanging last Thursday evening. George Craig subscribes to the Recorp for rural mail route six past his Ellis farm, and recently bought a 160 acre Beatrice area farm near the fairgrounds.
