Fairbury visitors A D Colman and J Smith Diller met in town on Tuesday. The editor made a business trip to Lincoln and David City earlier in the week.
Beatrice district items include J E Clark and J D Fanders returning from St Joe with livestock and bogs, Gretzinger buying a $2600 Beatrice residence, a Disc Harrow display, a revival meeting schedule for the Royal Highlanders, and Beatrice High School seniors Joy Keinhart and Stanley Blythe reinstated after disciplinary dismissals over red and white socks.

J W Fouts came back to his office after five weeks sick leave and handled sales totaling 640 acres for 49 600 dollars from Tuesday noon to Saturday evening. Transactions include T L Smith to Ed Chavett 20 acres for 28 800, Ed Chavett to Mrs C L Riddle 160 acres for 10 800, Theo Philippi to C E With 160 acres for 10 000. Col Tilton of the Beatrice Times called him the land wizard of Nebraska.

Grace Lowe of Davenport Nebraska visiting near Steele City. Neely’s Pharmacy advertises Pinesalve Carbolized for inflammation and skin care.
A good Avery cultivator was found in a nearby draw near my place believed left by boys on Halloween. The owner may recover it by paying for this notice. B. F. Blythe.

H Z Diller fell from a ladder while cleaning an ice box in a meat market and struck a stove causing a severe facial wound. A gash across the nose cut the lower lid of the left eye, leaders were severed and tied, stitches were required. He traveled to Omaha Tuesday by early morning train to see a surgeon.
