Nelson Inga’s local band master met with six of ten band leaders at Fairbury last Sunday to plan the Fairbury city park festival in late August. Music selections for the mass concert were chosen to help amateur musicians practice together. Visitors were entertained at a cafe and called the gathering enjoyable. The Fairbury Park Bard Festival is a major event in this county and organizers hope more bands can participate if accommodations are found.
