Mr and Mrs Edgington marked sixty years of marriage with a family dinner at 500 West 14th Hastings. They wed March 2 1890 at Diller Nebraska and spent most of their life in Diller Steele City area later living with daughters in Beatrice Hastings Lincoln.

Diller Fire Reports Two Monday Blazes Near Farms
Diller fire department answered two calls Monday. A grass fire west of the Webling farm southwest of Diller was quickly extinguished after starting beside the road, likely from a cigarette or match from a passing motorist. The second fire burned about 65 acres of grassland in Henrich pastures southwest of the Jake Lotiman farm, brought under control despite strong south winds.
