John Greider reports Sophie Mathias sells 45 acres north of town to Joe Novotny for 6000 dollars. The property includes a residence and outbuildings suited for a fine home. J V Novotny of Shea neighborhood showed tanned hides and claimed over a hundred chickens and all his turkeys.

Prairie Home cemetery owners meet on Jan 30 1930

Mr and Mrs Will Amos entertained the N R C Club Friday night with nearly all members and families present. Prizes went to Mrs ard for first and Mr Menno Hicken for second. Vera and Laura Amos provided late evening music and a luncheon with sandwiches pickles cake pie and coffee was served.
