Bankers demand Congress action on unfair government competition

Emil Piacek of Wahco newly elected president of the Country Bank Division of the Independent Bankers Association announced at a Nebraska Bankers Association meeting in Omaha that a letter will go to every member of Congress asking them to retain or eliminate non essential government bureaus. Piacek says releasing bureau personnel would relieve independent bankers nationwide with head offices at Sauk Centre Minnesota as part of a broader fight against socialized credit and government competition.
