Mrs McManes Called By Death In Diller Nebraska

Mrs Effie McManes born May 29 1850 in Page County Ohio moved with her husband to Diller Nebraska years ago. She died in this city at her daughter Mrs Ed Ogden's home leaving four daughters and one son. Brief services were held at the Ogden residence conducted by State Evangelist Beem and the remains were taken to Sidney for burial.

Church Seeks Global Reconstruction Funds

The Swedish Lutheran church plans to raise one million dollars for reconstruction in Europe, joining fourteen other Protestant churches in a campaign to spread spiritual Democracy as a tribute to soldiers.
