Mr and Mrs S R Henrichs praised their new Ford during a visit with relatives. J E Clark shipped cattle and hogs from St. Joe market.
Mrs. L. P. Raymond returned Monday from a few days with her daughter Mrs. Leona Barber and others at Tecumseh. Henry Fouts returned to Lincoln after visiting in the city about the State University and his parents Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Fouts.

It covers a brief update on Dr. O C Diehl and H E Grupe returning from Kansas City with a touring car, plus a local hog sale led by W E Epley with top price of 49 dollars and 35 head overall averaging above 30 dollars per head.

No 15, the Burninghton’s west bound passenger train, struck John Seboit’s cattle on the track two miles east of Diller Tuesday evening, killing four of the herd.
Arthur E. Price and associates drove to Fairbury on Monday and returned. Snow Monday night halted auto travel for a time. Mr and Mrs Orin Reid and two children of Beatrice, former neighbors northeast of Diller, arrived Tuesday to visit Vester Carmichael and other locals. They plan to move soon to land they bought near Blue Rapids Kansas.
The Board of Education Dist. No. 70 Diller elected next year’s staff reappointing Prof. Jas A Eastwood as superintendent Miss Louise Stur devant as principal and Miss Lucia Arends as assistant principal. The board also voted to elect four other teachers. The action is praised by district patrons.
Farmers Institute program and premium list for Diller on Friday February 23 1912. Exhibits will be shown dinner in the M E church basement with afternoon and evening programs in Loock’s hall. Entries by 11 am. Premium grains potatoes and perishable domestic science items auctioned for institute funds. Special evening program includes prize essays and premiums. Preaching both morning and evening services as usual. The annual offering for the Synodical College at Hastings will be received next Sabbath morning. Tuesday evening prayer meetings are now held at different homes as announced from the pulpit.
