Sextuplet births cited in Chinese annals by Field Museum curator
Dr. Berthold Laufer notes no quintuplet birth in China but records two sextuplet births. One in 1574 at Keuwang ping fu Chi li province with six children born alive, and another in 1865 in a village of Kwei chou province where mother and six sons survived.
