Drink. To profit here s one way of solving the drink problem
An exchange prints a reader submission proposing a grim scam: a married man starts a private saloon at home to avoid licenses, giving his wife two dollars to buy a gallon of whiskey. He buys only from her, and after the first gallon she deposits eight dollars in the bank and starts again, ensuring she can bury him and support the family if he dies years later. The tone mocks the scheme as a doomed, deceitful path.
