Lucy Olive Ballard born 6th, 1938 near T tenee Nebr. died aged 74 years 6 months 14 days after forty four years running a millinery dressmaking and notion store in Diller Nebr. Survived by four brothers Willard and Ida McElwee plus nieces nephews and many friends. She taught school, lived with sisters in Fairbury until death and was active in First Methodist Church Diller the R C and the O E S serving as secretary.
Mrs. Henry Frisbie visited Lincoln on Saturday to see the home of her friend Mrs. LeRoy Mason and others. She spent time with Mr. and Mrs. Richardson and Mr. and Mrs. D. E. Thompson and brought Mrs. Frisbie home.
